The Wilsall Foundation, Inc. (The Foundation) was founded in 2009 to assist residents of Shields Valley in times of crisis, financial need, and to assist other organizations. It was the vision of our founders to leave Shields Valley a better place than they found it. Hand-selected by our founders, the initial board of directors was entrusted with the task of both assisting the community in times of financial crisis and constructing creative ways to ensure the continued economic success of the communities of Wilsall and Clyde Park. The mission statement of The Foundation is "to sustain and enhance the quality of life in the Shields Valley by providing financial assistance to individuals and other organizations."

Consistent goals set forth by the Board of Directors include:
• Ease the financial burden faced by residents in times of crisis.
• Encourage social and economic sustainability through outreach and education efforts for the community.
• Ensure economic stability through financial support of programs designed to foster community and financial support and sustainability.

Faced with unexpected financial hardships in times of crisis, the Wilsall Foundation serves as a soft landing financially for those who are forced to deal with emergencies, both personally and economically. When experiencing a crisis, the assistance the Foundation offers helps families focus on what is important, rather than worry about how they will be able to pay their bills, purchase groceries, heat their homes, and sometimes keep their homes.
