As a school and community members, our aim is to be respectful, patient, loving, professional humans that are connected to our community and courageous to the core. We work every day to embody these key characteristics. A more beautiful world begins with the way we treat each other and our environment. Reaching towards one another in a spirit of gratitude and humility fosters a sense of connection to one's community. At the root of our philosophy is the belief that the Montessori pedagogy of education is valuable for our whole community of children and adults.

Elevate Montessori School embraces our community - working with groups of parents to create a business model that is (hopefully) sustainable for the long term, ensure a beautiful campus for the students, and creating fundraising events to help alleviate the burden that private (the only option) Early Childhood Education has placed squarely on the shoulders of young families. However, we still struggle to pay livable wages to staff who are expected (and do!) give their all to the students and families daily.

We believe that by providing a strong foundation for our young children that they will learn key skills to prepare them to be future leaders in our community and beyond. We practice problem solving and critical thinking with the children; grace and courtesy lessons - such as politely interrupting someone or listening while others are talking; we foster concentration and independence. Our world is changing faster than we can imagine and we hope we are creating a base that allows these humans to function as a creative, courteous and brave future generation.
