TEACHER ENRICHMENT GRANTS
The Teacher Enrichment Grant Program is a cornerstone of the Livingston Education Foundation's mission to enrich education in the Livingston Public Schools. It is designed to put money directly into the hands of classroom teachers, helping educators take ideas for innovative teaching strategies and make them a reality. Grants will be made each school year to successful applicants who are staff employed by the Livingston School District.

SCHOOL-WIDE INITIATIVES
On occasion a teacher or school-wide need is identified that lies outside the enrichment grant guidelines, usually by dollar amount. In this case the LEF will offer a pledge amount towards the need and the legwork to market and raise outside, one-time funding for the need. Recent examples include the PHS marching band uniforms where LEF helped the band program raise $35,000, and the PHS Rec Plex performance proscenium where LEF helped the choir program raise over $26,000.

LIP SYNC BATTLE
The Lip Sync Battle is a newer community event held the third Saturday of September at the Shane Lalani Center for the Arts. Originally organized as a fundraiser for the high school choir program through LEF it has become a community favorite. Ten teams prepare and perform a lip sync - drawing groups of students, teachers, and community members/ businesses, who compete for the "Golden Microphone." Audience members vote with their dollars during intermission, and then various live performances play while the votes are tallied. Income is derived through team sponsorships, audience tickets, and votes.

ANNUAL FUN RUN - 4FOR5 LEF RUNS LIVINGSTON
The Annual Fun Run is a community fundraising event held annually in the Spring. The run was originally started as a companion to the LEF Haunted House, but became a stand-alone event in 2015. The run draws in participants from throughout Park County and the surrounding areas. Students and parents participate as volunteers, as well as along the route the morning of the race. Income is earned through runners and race sponsorships. Beginning in 2018 LEF sponsors at least two $500 scholarships for PHS seniors - a volunteer and a runner. Names are drawn the morning of the race.

DISTINGUISHED STUDENT AWARD
The Distinguished Student Award is LEF's annual tribute to those students who have excelled in academics or other areas of achievement during that specific year in high school. Distinguished Scholars are nominated by teachers and is meant to feature students who might otherwise go unnoticed even while doing something very well. The student(s) are presented a certificate and $100 award at the May student celebration.

ERICKSON MEMORIAL/AMERICAN BANK SCHOLARSHIP
Claude & Bernie Erickson were long-time members of the Livingston community, and active in many roles. These scholarships are made available by the family of the Erickson's and the financial institution they founded. In 2019 the Erickson family adjusted their long-time award to include a second scholarship. One will be awarded annually to a Park High School student to pursue post-secondary education at an accredited four-year school in the amount of $1,000 per year for a maximum of four years ($4,000). The second will be awarded to a PHS student pursuing technical or other vocational training in the amount of $1,000 per year up to two years ($2,000).
