LPLC was born out of a desire to create employment opportunities for families with young children in the Yellowstone National Park area. With the generous support of citizens and local organizations, we opened our doors on May 19, 1980, and have been providing exceptional care for over 40 years. Our center offers high-quality, affordable educational experiences for children aged 6 weeks to 10 years. We are licensed in Wyoming and have a dedicated and qualified staff who deliver an exceptional program that encourages children to explore and learn from the world around them, pursue their own interests, and develop social, emotional, and academic skills at their own pace. Our director and volunteer Board of Directors work closely with our parent stakeholders to ensure that we are meeting the needs of the community.
