About this Organization

Park County is in difficult financial times and our group was formed specifically to assist the Sheriff's Search and Rescue Team in performing its mission of performing search and rescue operations for the citizens and visitors to Park County, Montana. The team is made up of a team of dedicated volunteers who give their time to help others.

Park County covers 2813 square miles with a population of approximately18,000 people and supports the thousands of Yellowstone National Park visitors that utilize the Park's north entrance throughout the year. Park County also covers a small portion of the Northern portion of Yellowstone Park.
